About Mood Bank
What is Mood Bank?
Mood Bank is an adult membership institution centered on mental wealth. It is designed to help men understand what is happening in their lives, decide what matters, carry forward what they intentionally choose, and reach appropriate support when the right next move exists outside Mood Bank.
What is mental wealth?
Mental wealth is what you build within yourself—the evidence that you can understand what is happening, make choices, take care of what matters, ask for help when you need it and keep moving through your life with greater clarity. Mood Bank gives that work somewhere to live.
Is Mood Bank therapy?
No. Mood Bank is not a mental-health provider, therapy practice, crisis service or substitute for qualified professional care. When a member needs clinical or other professional support, Mood Bank can help him identify an appropriate next step or real-world resource.
Is Mood Bank a bank or financial institution?
No. The language of deposits, withdrawals and investments is part of Mood Bank’s mental-wealth framework. Mood Bank is not a bank, lender, brokerage, investment adviser or financial institution.
Membership
Who can join Mood Bank?
Mood Bank membership is currently intended for adults age 18 or older in the United States. Membership includes identity and eligibility verification and institutional review before an account becomes active.
Is Mood Bank free?
Current individual membership is intended to be free to members. Mood Bank is developing an economic model built around aligned institutional and commercial partnerships rather than selling access to a member’s private life.
What happens when I become a member?
Membership opens the door to Mood Bank. From there, you can begin with what is on your mind, move through the parts of your life that matter, use Tools when useful, create Investments, keep private Journal entries, carry Anchors forward, explore Branch resources and use other Product experiences as they become relevant to you.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Mood Bank provides a permanent account-deletion path. Deletion ends member access and removes covered member-owned data through Mood Bank’s deletion process, subject to limited legal, security, fraud-prevention, moderation or audit records that may need to be retained.
Inside Mood Bank
What are the four areas of Mood Bank?
Mood Bank is organized around four parts of life: Mind, Body & Health; Relationships, Love & Family; Money & Finance; and Careers & Learning. These areas are intentionally connected because real life rarely stays inside one category.
What is an Investment?
An Investment is something you decide matters enough to actively work toward. It is an explicit commitment you choose to carry forward. It is not a task list, streak, score or achievement system.
What is an Anchor?
An Anchor is a person or meaningful date you decide is worth carrying with you. Where supported, you can deliberately add a dated Anchor to a calendar. Mood Bank does not silently write to your calendar.
What is Branch?
Branch is Mood Bank’s bridge to qualified real-world support. It can help members identify providers, resources, organizations or practical support when the right next move exists outside Mood Bank. External providers remain responsible for their own services, qualifications, availability and privacy practices.
What is Dads Without Dads?
Dads Without Dads is a deeper Mood Bank experience for men navigating fatherhood without having had a father or model of their own. It is not a fifth Mood Bank domain; everyday fatherhood still lives within Relationships, Love & Family.
Privacy & support
How private is my Journal?
Journal is private autobiographical space. Journal entries do not silently become advertising data, partner targeting, Vault content, Branch context or hidden Product inference. A choice to write something privately does not automatically authorize Mood Bank to use it for another purpose.
Does Mood Bank sell my information?
Mood Bank does not sell access to private member content. Your private life is your private life. It is not advertising inventory. Commercial and institutional partners do not receive access to Journal entries, Today inputs, Investments, Safety activity, private context or other intimate Mood Bank content.
Does Mood Bank use notifications?
Mood Bank may use in-app, email, SMS and push notifications, but those channels have different permissions. Phone verification is not SMS consent. Optional communications require the permissions that apply to that channel, and sensitive private content is not used as lock-screen notification copy.
What happens if I am in crisis or immediate danger?
Mood Bank is not a crisis responder and does not provide continuous monitoring. If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact 911 or your local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis or urgent emotional support.
Partnerships
How do partnerships work?
Mood Bank works selectively with organizations that can add genuine value to members. Partnership does not mean access to private member content. The member relationship comes first. Partner with Mood Bank
